Description
This project aims to empower community-based organizations across the Arab region by integrating climate-smart practices into their operational frameworks. It focuses on merging sustainability reporting and carbon footprint measurement through localized training tools and simplified reporting templates in Arabic. By connecting GHG Protocol metrics to ESG and SDG indicators, the project equips civil society actors with actionable knowledge and tools. It fosters scalable initiatives including rooftop farming, green buildings, and improved local transport. Piloted in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria, the project has demonstrated strong results in raising awareness and institutional capacity. It is driven by a blend of technical insight and cultural relevance, making climate action more tangible at the grassroots level.
