I am a sustainability and environmental governance expert with over 18 years of international experience in policy advisory, hazardous materials management, and climate action. My work spans the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Jordan, and Portugal—leading transformative projects in green infrastructure, circular economy, and low-carbon development.

As a senior advisor to governments and multilateral partners, I specialize in regulatory frameworks, ESG integration, and technical innovation to reduce environmental impacts. I hold a Master’s in Sustainable Design of the Built Environment from The British University in Dubai and am currently in the final thesis discussion stage of my PhD in Sustainable Built Environments. I also hold professional credentials including PMP, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, and CHMM.

I’m passionate about connecting science, policy, and action to accelerate sustainable solutions and empower emerging leaders across sectors.

My motivation to join Sustainability Global stems from a deep conviction that achieving environmental resilience and social equity demands transformative leadership, evidence-based policy, and collaborative innovation. With over 18 years of international experience in hazardous materials governance, circular economy design, and environmental strategy, I believe I can bring strategic value to the organization’s mission—both technically and regionally.

As Regional Ambassador affiliated with the Circular Economy & Sustainable Materials pillar, I intend to champion systemic change in how resources are managed across the built environment, waste systems, and regulatory frameworks. I’ve led large-scale initiatives across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, and Europe, including the design of engineered landfills, national-level hazardous waste policy, and the integration of material recovery into carbon-neutral construction. My work with Ernst & Young on the NEOM environmental governance framework and with Dubai Municipality on lifecycle impact assessments are examples of bridging vision with implementation.

I’m currently in the final thesis stage of my PhD in Sustainable Built Environments, and my academic focus on urban metabolism and decarbonization gives me strong alignment with Sustainability Global’s goals. I also bring field experience advising regulators, managing stakeholder coalitions, and developing national circular economy roadmaps. I have worked extensively on embedding reuse and extended producer responsibility in public-sector strategies and advising on ESG-aligned procurement.

What excites me most about Sustainability Global is the opportunity to create cross-border dialogue and foster regional innovation hubs. If appointed, I aim to lead the development of a regional circular economy communications node, mobilize emerging leaders in the Middle East and Africa, and co-develop toolkits and guidance aligned with SDGs 11, 12, and 13. I also look forward to mentoring early-career environmental professionals, expanding engagement across industry sectors, and contributing to the annual Sustainability Global Award process.

I deeply admire the organization’s commitment to practical impact, inclusivity, and systemic reform. I see this role not only as a leadership position but as a platform to inspire, activate, and deliver measurable outcomes. I’m excited by the prospect of representing Sustainability Global at local and global events, amplifying its reach, and scaling the adoption of regenerative economic principles that go beyond waste reduction—toward total system redesign.

I would be honored to contribute to this visionary movement and collaborate with the diverse and passionate network Sustainability Global has cultivated.
