I am a passionate microbiologist with a strong focus on environmental and public health research. I have completed Bachelor’s degree from Muhammad Nawaz Shareef university of agriculture with a 3.58 CGPA. I have done internships at National institute of health where i analysed water and food samples for quality assurance and studied antimicrobial resistant patterns. I have also done an internship at Pujab Food Authority where I dealt with water quality assessment.

Water quality and environmental sustainability are critical challenges in Pakistan, where contamination of drinking water and inadequate waste management threaten both human and ecological health. During my internships at the National Institute of Health (NIH), Islamabad, and Doctor’s Laboratory in Multan, I gained firsthand experience analyzing water and food samples for microbial contamination, performing multiple tube fermentation tests, and assessing nutrient and chemical parameters. These experiences highlighted the complex connections between environmental factors, public health, and sustainable resource management, making me realize that solving these challenges requires integrated, interdisciplinary approaches.

Witnessing the consequences of water contamination in my country instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility to contribute not only locally but also globally. I recognized that improving water safety, promoting sustainable practices, and preventing disease requires collaboration across scientific, environmental, and policy domains. My academic background in microbiology, combined with practical laboratory experience, has prepared me to engage effectively in these multifaceted challenges.

The Sustainability Global International program provides the perfect platform to advance these goals. Its focus on environmental sustainability, resource management, and global impact aligns seamlessly with my experiences and aspirations. I am eager to bring my research skills, analytical expertise, and dedication to collaborative problem-solving to this program, contributing to projects that enhance environmental resilience, safeguard public health, and promote sustainable practices both in Pakistan and around the world.
