I’m an Environmental Ecologist deeply passionate about protecting ecosystems and promoting sustainable living. I hold two master’s degrees, one from Lebanon and another from France, and have worked on diverse conservation projects across both countries. My experiences range from restoring habitats and conserving biodiversity to raising awareness in local communities, especially through education.
One of my greatest joys is combining science with personal engagement, whether it's creating my own herbarium to document medicinal plants in my hometown or helping students connect with nature through tutoring and coaching. I strongly believe that environmental action begins with knowledge and empathy.
I’m particularly interested in nature-based solutions and inclusive approaches to ecosystem and water protection. Joining the Ecosystem Biodiversity & Water Security Pillar feels like a natural next step to learn, contribute and connect with others who care deeply about the future of our planet.

As an Environmental Ecologist, I have always believed that real change begins when science, community and purpose come together. Over the past few years, I have dedicated myself to advancing environmental protection through both academic research and on-the-ground action. From conserving bird habitats with the Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon to restoring ecosystems in France with the Conservatory of Natural Spaces of Lorraine, I have witnessed the urgency and complexity of ecological challenges we face today. What has become increasingly clear to me is that sustainability is not a goal we can pursue alone, it demands collaboration across disciplines, regions and generations.

I am drawn to Sustainability Global because it represents exactly that: a global, inclusive community working collectively to preserve natural systems and build a more sustainable future. The opportunity to contribute to the Ecosystem Biodiversity & Water Security Pillar aligns closely with my academic background, professional experience and personal values. I am particularly passionate about nature-based solutions, community-driven conservation, and the link between biodiversity and climate resilience. These are themes I’ve explored in both fieldwork and environmental education.

Beyond technical knowledge, I bring a strong commitment to communication and engagement. As a private tutor and Superprof Ambassador, I’ve supported young people in understanding environmental issues and developing a sense of responsibility toward nature. I’ve also documented medicinal plant heritage in my hometown through a personal herbarium, driven by a desire to preserve both ecological and cultural knowledge.

Joining Sustainability Global would be a meaningful step for me, a chance to learn from inspiring individuals around the world, contribute to impactful initiatives, and grow as both a researcher and a changemaker. I believe in the organization’s mission and I am excited about the possibility of working alongside others who share a deep concern for the planet and its future.
